My Morning Skincare Routine

Two or three years ago I never had a fixed morning skincare routine. Only since watching Youtube "beauty gurus" I developed my own little regime for the mornings. I think It's really hard to find products, that work for you and your skin and there are so many products out there. But after trying out some products, watching a lot of Youtubers and reading reviews on other Blogs, I can finally say, that I've found my perfect skincare routine that works for me! I hope I can help you In the same way, as reading Blogposts helped me a few years ago (or even now), to find the perfect products for your skincare routine.

1. Lush Porridge scrubby soap:

Lush Porridge soap
This Is one of my favourite Lush products. Since I'am half english, I naturally love porridge for breakfast, but when I can also shower in It, It's a dream come true! This soap has little oat particles in It, that exfoliate the skin and It creates a milk that soothes your skin and let It smell of caramel.

2. Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser:

Origins GinZing Scrub Cleanser
I usually use this Origins scrub every second or third day in the shower. It is perfect for the mornings because It smells of oranges and immediately wakens you up. GinZing Is a very gentle cleanser but still gets the job done nicely and leaves the skin feel clean and look smoother and brighter.

3. Treaclemoon Warm Cinnamon Nights Body Milk:

Treaclemoon warm cinnamon nights
This Body milk has the best christmas, autumn scent you could wish for. It Isn't overly cinnamony and also not too sweet. As soon as I come out of the shower, I slather It on my whole body and wrap up in a dressing gown. I wouldn't say It works wonders or better than any other Body milk and It also doesn't soak In as quickly as some other ones do, but the smell is just amazing and too good, not to buy!

4. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:

Garnier micellar cleansing water
This is my latest edition to my beauty regime and It's the perfect dupe for the Bioderma cleansing water. It removes makeup and any other dirt, that might still be on your face. I put It on a cotton pad and swipe across my face and down my neck.

5. Origins GinZing energy-boosting moisturizer:

After cleansing my face, I usually use this Origins moisturizer which Is from the same line as my face scrub. It also smells of oranges, Is oil free and makes the skin look glowy and healthy. It isn't too heavy and wears nicely underneath foundation.

6. Kiehl's creamy eye treatment with Avocado:

Kiehls creamy eye treatment
The last thing In my Skincare routine, before putting on my makeup, Is the Kiehls eye cream. To be perfectly honest with you, I've never owned an other eye cream than this one because It is so good. It's light, gives a good amount of moisture to the under eye skin,  doesn't irritate my skin and gives the perfect base for Concealer.

If you want me to make a Blogpost on my everyday makeup or nighttime routine, please leave me a comment! I would love to know what your holy grail products are!

Clare

Breakfast date in munich, "Vierwasser"

Yesterday I had a day off at uni and couldn't resist not to go to one of my favourite breakfast restaurants in munich. It is located beautifully next to a little river, that flows through the old town. When the weather is good, you can sit outside on the terrace and watch the ducks swim by.
It is a very modern restaurant and they've got some delicious stuff on their menu.

I went for the "Amperwasser" breakfast, which contains norwegian salmon with horseradish, a crayfish-coriander salad, ciabatta bread with avocado salsa, a fried egg and a yoghurt with fresh seasonal fruit. It was absolutely amazing, especially the salmon and the avocado salsa!

Sabrina went for the "Veggie" breakfast, which consists of a little baguette with cream cheese and chives, a cheese selection, scrambled eggs and some granola and yoghurt.

Here is a link to their website, if you want to check It out. I definitely would recommend a visit, when you are in munich. It is a little bit further away from the city center but worth the journey! Let me know, if you have already been there and what you think of it!

Autumnal dark red lipstick collection!

Fall is just around the corner, the leaves begin to fall, the air is all fresh and crisp, we bring out our soft, knitted sweaters and drink hot chocolates with marshmallows, instead of ice tea and lemonade. This is my favourite time of the year (except of Christmas of course) and not only the leaves change their colour, but also the colours of my lipstick choices. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to show you my five favourite autumn/winter lipsticks!

(from left to right): Astor "Soft Sensation Matte" in "026 Royal Diva"; Maybelline "Color drama" in "310 Berry much"; Bite "Matte crème" in "Mulled Maple"; L'oreal "Color Riche" in "374 Intense plum"; Maybelline "Moisture extreme" in "590 Burgundy"

Astor "Soft Sensation Matte":

This lipstick is definitely the most purple one of my five favourites. Although it has a matte finish, it isn't all that drying but I would recommend using some kind of lip balm before applying it to the lips. Sometimes, when I don't want a too purple looking lip, I use a more red toned lip colour on top.

Maybelline "Color drama":

This Lipstick is the newest addition to my collection and has the perfect autumn colour for me, It's not too red but also not to purple and the lasting power and colour payoff is surprisingly good. It is more a lip crayon than a lipstick, which works really well, because It acts as a lipliner and lipstick, all in one. Totally worth a try and cheap as chips! ;-)

Bite "Matte crème":

Before I bought this lipstick a few moths ago, when I was in Canada, I have only heard Fleur from "FleurdeForce" talk about this company. She raved about the Bite Lip products, so I was extremely happy to see the Bite counter in Sephora. This particular Lipstick is from a limited edition "Canada" line and It tastes and smells like maple syrup. The lasting power is incredible and It's not at all drying, even though It has a matt finish. This is the most expensive lipstick out of these five, but I think It's totally worth its money!

L'oreal "Color Riche":

This L'oreal one is a true dark red lipstick with no purple looking undertones. I really like this colour, because I usually tend to go more for colours with a blue undertone. Sadly the lasting power isn't all that good. After a meal you definitely will want to touch up your lips, but otherwise It's a beautiful Lipstick.

Maybelline "Moisture extreme":

Last but not least, is this incredibly creamy Lipstick from Maybelline Jade. This has a beautiful, light rusty red colour and I sometimes mix it with the quite purple, Astor one. It has a satin finish and doesn't dry out the lips, they feel nice and moisturized throughout the day.

Swatches and Overview:
